Day One Alumni and Our Team at 48 Hours Tāmaki Makaurau Finals 2024

Day One's Alix and Anna were at the super inspiring @48hoursnz Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland City Finals on Saturday 29 June. Congratulations to all the Tāmaki winners and to the national finalists who will be battling it out in Pōneke on Saturday 27 July. 🎉

Our amazingly talented alum Angela Cudd presented Best Director to another one of our amazingly talented alum Julie Zhu for Monster State by the Sad Jackie team.

Alix and Esaú Allemora are the Auckland City Managers of @48hours this year. Esaú MC'ed the event and is the producer of our upcoming Day One Shorts commissioned film Holy Ghost.

Anna, decked out in Day One gear, presented two awards. Best Script was awarded to Thicker than Water by Jovial Entertainment and Best School Team was awarded to Love Bomb by Les Petit Cons. 👏

Congrats to all who entered. The creativity and storytelling was next level!
