Gabi Maffey is an emerging documentary filmmaker from Āwhitu, now based in central Tāmaki Makaurau. With a background in architecture, visual design, and performance, her award-winning work draws inspiration from the whimsical and dramatic aspects in everyday reality.
Matilda Boese-Wong
Producer
Matilda is a Chinese/Japanese Kiwi filmmaker, working across producing, directing and art department for shorts, series, documentaries, and music videos. As an Asian New Zealander, she prioritises authentic, unheard narratives and is currently building a diverse and out of the box slate for her company Persimmon Pictures. Her recent credits include Gloss Finish, Strange Brew, Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant, Last Home Renters (The Spinoff), Little Apocalypse (TVNZ+), Gatecrash (NZIFF, MIFF).
